Je suis très heureux d'avoir trouvé un autre événement sur la blogosphère qui se concentrera sur FMQ (piqué libre). Cette fois, l'hôtesse est Vicki sur son blog "sew inspired" et la fête commence le 3 janvier.

Pour faire chaque arbre de Noël vous aurez besoin de: -

2 yo-yos - à l'aide du 60mm Faiseur de yo-yo "Rapido" (Clover)
2 yo-yos - à l'aide du 45mm Faiseur de yo-yo "Rapido" (Clover)
2 yo-yos - à l'aide du 30mm Faiseur de yo-yo "Rapido" (Clover)
1 yo-yos - à l'aide du 20mm Faiseur de yo-yo "Rapido" (Clover)
8 perles de votre choix
1 perle dans la forme d'une étoile
fil d'or

For each Christmas tree you will need:-

2 yo-yos - made using the 60mm Clover Quick yo-yo maker
2 yo-yos - made using the 45mm Clover Quick yo-yo maker
2 yo-yos - made using the 30mm Clover Quick yo-yo maker
1 yo-yo  - made using the 20mm Clover Quick yo-yo maker
8 beads of your choice
1 star bead  
gold thread

Organisez vos fournitures comme illustré...
Arrange your materials as shown...

Faites une boucle et un noeud dans le fil pour accrocher l'arbre...
Make a loop and knot in the thread to hang your tree...

Enfilez l'étoile sur le fil ...
Thread the star on the gold thread ...

Ajoutez le plus petit yo-yo ...
Add the smallest yo-yo...

Ajoutez une perle ...
Add a bead ... 

Ajoutez le deuxième yo-yo ...
Add the second yo-yo ...

Répétez - finissant avec une perle ...
Repeat - finishing with a bead ...

Ajoutez la dernière perle ...

Add the last bead ... 

Tournez et passez l'aiguille et le fil à travers la deuxième perle ...
Turn and pass the needle and thread through the second bead ...
 

Faites passer le fil à travers toutes les perles et les yo-yo à nouveau ...
Pass the needle and thread through all the beads and yo-yos again ...

Tirez sur le fil et arrangez les perles et les yo-yos. Faites un nœud au-dessus de l'étoile pour terminer ...

Pull the thread and arrange the beads and yo-yos. Tie a knot above the star to finish ...

J'ai fait les yo-yos de Noël avec le "Quick Yo-yo maker" (le Faiseur de yo-yo "Rapido") de Clover. Voici un tutoriel en utilisant le "grand" modèle. Quand c'est fini le yo-yo sera de 60 mm de diamètre. 
I made my Christmas Suffolk Puffs with the "Quick yo-yo maker" from Clover. Here is a tutorial using the "large" version. The finished yo-yo will be 2.5 inches in diameter (approx.)

Vous avez besoin d'un morceau de tissu d'environ 13cm carrés.

You need a scrap of fabric measuring five square inches.

Placez le tissu sur la plaque claire avec l'envers face à vous.
Place the fabric on the clear disc with the wrong side facing you.

Ensuite, placez la plaque opaque sur le dessus du tissu.

Then place the opaque disc on top of the fabric.

Alignez les deux plaques comme indiqué aux points A et B.

Line up the two discs as shown at A and B.

 

Appuyez sur la plaque opaque. Les pièces seront s'enclencher avec un déclic.
Press the opaque disc firmly in place. You will hear clicks as the pieces go together.

Coupez le tissu au niveau du bord de la plaque claire.
Trim the fabric level with the edge of the clear disc.

 

Maintenant, vous êtes prête à coudre! 
Now you are ready to sew! 

Vous avez besoin d'un fil solide. Faites un bon noeud au bout du fil.
You need a strong thread. Make a large knot at the end of the thread.
 

Tenez le tissu avec votre doigt pour le maintenir à plat.
Hold the fabric at the back with your finger to keep it flat.

Faites votre premier point de C à D.
Make your first stitch from point C to D.

 

 

Répétez les étapes C à D vers la gauche.

Repeat the steps from C to D towards the left.

Le cercle est terminée...
The circle is complete...

Cousez le premier point pour une deuxième fois. Attention, ne percez pas le nœud!
Sew the first stitch for a second time. Be careful not to stitch through the knot!

Ne pas désenfilez le l'aiguille ...
Don't unthread your needle ... 

 

Appuyez au milieu et retirez la plaque ...
Press in the middle and remove the disc ...
 

Retirez soigneusement le tissu ...
Carefully remove the fabric ...

Tirez sur le fil et arrangez les plis du tissu ...
Pull the thread and adjust the gathers neatly ...

Faites un noeud et le cachez dans le yo-yo...

Tie a knot and hide it within the yo-yo ..

Voici le yo-yo fini ...
Here is the finished Suffolk Puff/ yo-yo ...

Exposition "Tea Patch" - Exhibition "Tea Patch"

J'ai été ravi de recevoir une invitation au vernissage de l'exposition des associations Patchwork et Broderie "Tea-Patch", mais malheureusement je n'ai pas pu y aller. Donc nous avons décidé de visiter le dimanche dernier.

I was delighted to receive an invitation to the private viewing evening of the exhibition of patchwork and embroidery from the "Tea-Patch" association. Unfortunately I was unable to attend that evening so we decided to visit last Sunday.


L'exposition est au Centre Culturel Léopold Sédar Senghor, Port-en-Bessin-Huppain (14).

Les quilteuses avait trois tissus imposés pour être inclus dans un projet (sujet libre et aucune communication.)

The quilters were given three fabrics which were to be included in a project of their choice but without discussing their plans.

L'exposition est ouvert du mardi au samedi de 10 h à 12h et 14h à 18h et le dimanche de 14h30 à 18h du 9 au 30 décembre. Vous avez encore de temps pour le voir!

The exhibition is open between the 9th and 30th December - Tuesday until Saturday from 10am to midday and from 2pm to 6pm and Sunday from 2.30pm to 6pm. You still have plenty of time to go and see it!
