Félicitations à Nectarine! Cette quilteuse de talent a eu un modèle de quilt/quillow publié dans le magazine Burda Patchwork (n ° 40 hiver 2013). Le magazine s 'est révélé un peu difficile à trouver. Enfin - j'ai acheté mon exemplaire hier chez E Leclerc! Voici la couverture:-
Congratulations to Nectarine! This talented quilter has had a quilt/quillow design published in the Burda patchwork magazine (No. 40. Winter edition 2013). The magazine proved a little difficult to find locally but I finally found a copy yesterday in E. Leclerc! Here is the front cover:-

J'ai eu le plaisir de voir ce quilt (qui se replie sous la forme d'un coussin) exposé l'année dernière. Il est magnifique! Les couleurs chatoyent sur ​​le fond foncé. Nectarine a fait le quilt d'un rouleau de tissu déjà coupé en bandes (2.5 pouces) de "Fabric Freedom". Ce modèle montre la polyvalence des rouleaux! Nectarine a réussi à terminer plus d'un projet d'un seul rouleau!
I had the great pleasure of seeing this quilt (which can be folded to form a cushion) on display "in the flesh" last year. It is beautiful! The colours really shimmer against the dark background! Nectarine made the quilt from a strip roll (2.5 inch strips) from "Fabric Freedom". This design certainly shows the versatility of the rolls! Nectarine managed to complete more than one project from just one roll!

Par temps pluvieux ... In wet weather ...

Il y a certains avantages - j'ai été en mesure de terminer ce top "Morris Mania"...

Peut-être quand les quilts sont complètement terminé le soleil brillera et je peux prendre de meilleures photos dans le jardin!

J'ai coupé ce quilt au mois d'avril et les blocs sont terminés ...

Pom Pom de Paris quilt - C'est terminé! ...

J'ai terminé mon quilt "Schnibbles" (Pom Pom de Paris). J'ai choisi FMQ simple avec des lignes droites parce que le tissu est un peu "trop recherché". Je pense qu' un motif élaboré serait devenu perdu ...
I've finished my "Schnibbles" quilt ( Pom Pom de Paris). I chose simple FMQ in straight lines because the fabric is rather "busy". I think that a more elaborate motif would have been lost ...

J'ai aussi préparé mes ouvrages prochains. J'ai couper un quilt avec de gros blocs (bon pour FMQ plus élaboré!) en tissus "Morris Mania" de "Fabric Freedom" ...

... et un autre "Schnibbles" utilisant deux "charm packs" de moda ("Portugal" de April Cornell) ...

ABC 123 quilt .

J'ai fini le quilt ABC123 - enfin! Ceci est le quilt que j'ai offert comme un tutoriel ici ...
I've finished the ABC123 quilt - at last! This is the quilt that I offered as a tutorial here ...

Il y a beaucoup de projets dans mon atelier que je dois finir en 2012. Au moins c'est bien parti ...

J'ai fait le patchwork! J'ai fini un quilt de bébé pour un petit homme!
I've been sewing! I've finished a baby quilt for a little man!  

 

J'ai utilisé un jelly roll ("Young & Fresh") de Fabric Freedom. Le jelly roll avait 20 bandes de tissu coordonnés, c'était donc une taille parfaite pour un quilt bébé. J'ai aussi utilisé un tissu blanc dans le fond et un tissu bleu pour la bordure.

Le modèle provient du livre "Two From One Jelly Roll Quilts" de Pam et Nicky Lintott. Pam et sa fille, Nicky, sont les propriétaires de "The Quilt Room" (un magasin de patchwork à Dorking en Angleterre.) Les modèles sont écrits en anglais mais il ya beaucoup de photos et d'illustrations

I used a jelly roll ("Young and Fresh") from Fabric Freedom. This was an ideal size for a baby quilt with its 20 co-ordinated strips of fabric. I also used some white tone-on-tone fabric for the background and a blue design for the border. 

The design came from the book "Two From One Jelly Roll Quilts" by Pam and Nicky Lintott. (Pam and her daughter Nicky run "The Quilt Room" in Dorking, Surrey, England) 

J'aime rendre le dos de le quilt intéressante aussi! J'ai utilisé les bouts de tissu pour cacher la couture dans la doublure.

I like to make the back of the quilt interesting too. I used the fabric scraps to hide the join in the backing fabric.

 
Puis, avec une étiquette - le quilt est fini.
Then, when it has its label, the quilt is finished.

En anglais on dit "facile comme ABC". Je ne sais pas si les Français savent cette expression mais ce quilt est certainement "facile comme tout"!
In English we say "as easy as ABC". I don't know if the French recognise that expression but this quilt is certainly "as easy as anything"!

It's time for another tutorial! 

Voici un quilt (106 x 137 cms) qui est facile à faire - idéal pour une débutante.
Here is a quilt (42 x 54 inches) that is easy to make - ideal for a beginner. 

J'ai fait le quilt en utilisant des inches. La traduction en centimètres n'est pas exacte, je vais ajouter quelques gabarits un peu plus tard.

I made the quilt in inches. The translation into centimetres is not exact so I will add some templates later.
