The members of the Vire "Patchwork Studio" club kindly invited me to their exhibition. My husband and I visited on Monday 25th. March.
Les patchs sont tous beaux! Pour mes lecteurs internationales, peut-être je dois dire que la plupart des quilteuses Françaises aiment faire tout à la main. Les blocs sont cousus à la main et quilté à la main. Beaucoup d'heures de travail! Je suis souvent taquiné pour utilisant une machine à coudre!
The quilts are all beautiful. I should, perhaps, tell my International readers that most French quilters like to do everything by hand. The blocks are hand stitched and hand quilted. Lots of work! I am often gently teased for using a sewing machine!
