Last week I was privileged to visit the "Friendship Day" held between the quilters of Vire (14) and Saint-Pair-Sur-Mer (50). Thank you to everyone for the warm welcome, the convivial atmosphere and the invitation to share your delicious buffet lunch.
Voici quelques photos:-
The quilters held a mini exhibition and displayed their latest projects. Here are some photos:-
It was lovely to see all the marvellous projects and to be able to admire the talents of the members...
After lunch the quilters enthusiastically started work on a little project - a tape measure cover in the shape of a bird. This pattern was given free in the latest edition of the local France Patchwork newsletter "Patch en Manche".

Those are so beautiful! There are obviously some very talented quilters in those groups! Did you make a bird too?
Thanks for sharing! What beautiful quilts!! I especially love the stained glass flowers and the table runner. Looks like they were all having a great time making the little bird! So much fun!
My favourite is the stained glass window too, but they are all wonderful
