Honfleur (14) - 28.03.2011

Dating from the 15th century, Saint Catherine's church was built by the townspeople of Honfleur after the English had left. Having only modest resources they used wood and the construction was based on shipbuilding techniques. The church has a separate bell-tower.

This huge tarpaulin hiding building work is a very convincing trompe-l'oeil
